“Yes, so weird for his map to be in his desk drawer where anyone could take it.” I shake my head at her. I find her audacity humorous.
“How do you feel?” She asks, turning to me. How did I feel?
“I don’t think there are words for what I am feeling. It’s been years since I’ve seen it from the outside. I only gave up.” I state, replaying my last escape attempt as I stared at the building, causing me to shudder.
