“I’m not a virgin. Just fuck me.”

He groans something in fae before he pushes into me. And I have no idea how I resisted them this long. Why on earth would I deny myself this? The pressure and stretch, the warmth, the shockwaves of pleasure? It’s dizzying. Silas thrusts all the way in and seems to lose all semblance of gentleness, slamming into me at a brutal pace as I cry out.

My cries are quickly captured by Baelfire as he takes my lips again.

“Gods, look at you. So fucking gorgeous and greedy. My perfect mate,” he whispers against my jaw.

The pleasure coursing through me reaches a fever pitch, and I groan, needing that release again. I need something to push me over that edge.

“Bite me,” I whisper.

I want that. Their marks on me—the soreness around the nipple Crypt bit, unintentional bruises on my hips from Silas losing control, and Baelfire’s bite.

And…Everett. I want something from him.

Where is he?

Baelfire growls in a sound that is more draconic than human, and then his teeth sink into my shoulder. It’s not hard enough to break my skin, but the pain gives all the pleasure one final push.

I gasp, my core seizing tightly as euphoria sweeps through me.

That sets Silas off, and he swears before burying himself in me as deep as he can go, his cock jerking until he’s left panting against the side of my calf. I was so overwhelmed by everything happening at once that I don’t even know when he lifted it that high.

The chill in the air slowly brings me back to earth, but this time, when my attention sweeps back to the hallway, the ice elemental is gone. And somehow, that makes me feel…incomplete.

Which is fucked up. Because they don’t belong to me. I’ve made that very clear, so I can’t now be wishing I could look into his glacier-blue eyes and see warmth instead of indifference.

Silas bites his lip as he pulls out. I feel warmth drip from me, and I don’t miss the way his eyes flare watching it. “Gods damn me, I may have bruised you.”

I hum, still not fully recovered. “Thanks.”

Baelfire laughs quietly and maneuvers me on the bed until I’m cradled against his chest. He’s still fully clothed. They all are, except Silas’s lack of pants. He slips into the attached bathroom, where I hear water running briefly.

But even though I feel the massive erection he’s sporting, Baelfire doesn’t try to rock against me or press me for more. He just nuzzles his face into the crook of my neck with an infinitely pleased groan, kissing the spot I know shifters mark their mates.

“You’re not about to hex me to shit thunder for a month, right?” he teases.

“You gave me my first orgasm, so your ass is safe. For now,” I murmur, more relaxed than I’ve felt in…I don’t even know how long.

Baelfire kisses my neck again. “You’re so damn perfect.”

Crypt catches my eye and settles on my other side, propping himself up on one arm. I blink when he places a light kiss on the tip of my nose, his expression dreamy as he gazes at me.

This moment feels…nice. Intimate.

Far too intimate.

Just like their skin. All over mine.

My breathing turns shallow, and I swallow hard. Cold sweat slowly breaks out over my body as memories from years ago come flooding back, washing away the delicious afterglow and triggering my gag reflex.

Rotting flesh. Oozing innards. Hands on me as I tried to stifle my cries. The pain and conditioning and the cold stone rough against my fresh wounds as I cried myself to sleep.

Shit. My system is starting to freak out. I need to distract myself, but I’m freezing up.

Baelfire tenses and sits up, brow furrowed. “Boo? What’s wrong? Why are you?—“

“Excuse me,” I whisper hoarsely, and then I run to the bathroom, barely making it to the toilet before dropping to my knees and heaving. Gentle hands pull my hair back from my face, and finally, I shiver and wipe my face.

Silas’s face is steely when I glance over my shoulder, but his irises burn with the questions I know he wants to ask. Baelfire looks stricken in the doorway, and Crypt appears murderous—not at me. Just in general. As if he wants to strangle whatever is haunting me.

But some ghosts are all in our heads.

“Relax. It wasn’t you guys,” I mutter, standing and remembering I’m very naked. I’m grateful when Silas quickly hands me a white bathrobe. It’s fluffy and soft and makes this awkward moment slightly more bearable.

Baelfire reaches out to fuss over me, but I step back quickly on instinct because I genuinely can’t handle anything else right now. A flash of hurt crosses his face, but he covers it quickly with a small, encouraging smile.

“Would a hot shower and buttery popcorn help? We can set up that freaky slasher movie night while we wait for you to get back,” he offers.

He’s giving me space to process.

It’s sweet.

Bitter sweet, because when I glance at the bathroom windows, I estimate that I only have five hours to get the beating heart to Melchom in order to get the nightshade root powder. But…I followed Lykoudis’s social media updates earlier today, and I know generally where he is. Demons travel fast. I could easily make this hit in two hours.

Which means it’s my choice to leave now or stay for the movie. Do I want as much as I can get with them before I have to disappear?

Yes.

I find my mouth turning up in a small smile. “Pick something extra gory.”

They mention setting up the movie night in the suite Silas stayed in several doors down and file out. At least, Baelfire and Silas file out. Crypt slips back into Limbo and lingers longer than he should while I turn on the shower and watch the steam start to rise. When I flip off the general void around me, Crypt slips away until I can’t longer sense him.

Slipping out of the bathrobe and under the warm stream of water, I shut my eyes and breathe deeply. My story will end badly, but those moments with them earlier…

I get to keep those.

Now, I just have to ignore the temptation to try to keep them, too.

EVERETT

Gods on high, please help me endure this.

My cock throbs in my pants.

Leaving that hallway did little good. I was trying to put distance between us to prevent myself from going in there and ruining everything, but my pulse pounds in my ears, and it feels like the world is melting around me as I make my retreat.

Swearing, I shut myself in my guest room and immediately brace against the wall, pulling out my steel-hard cock and squeezing the base of it hard.

Dear gods, the sounds she made. That soft panting and the way she whispered what she needed. Seeing that pretty little pussy on display and glistening, and her soft gasp when Silas pushed in.

I need to fuck her like that. With an audience so they’ll see how much she’s mine.

Oh gods.

That mental picture is too much to take. I pump my dick hard until I come with a harsh groan, burying my face in my arm against the wall to try to muffle the sound. But as soon as the pleasure ends, I turn and slump against the wall, glaring at the ceiling.

This is hell. Whichever god or entity designed my curse is a damn sadist. I have never been as turned on in my life as I was in that hall. But as always, it was me outside looking in. Aching and so damn lonely.

Get over yourself. You have to be lonely.

Cleaning myself up quickly, I catch a glance in the mirror as I leave the room. The flush is still fading from my cheeks, but otherwise, I look the way my family always wanted me to.
