Tatiana balled her fists. “Continue living in denial. You’ll regret it when the time comes.”

“So this was the trick up your sleeve? It’s a waste of my time.” Isabella stood, towering over Tatiana. “If that’s all you have, don’t waste any more of my time.”

“Isabella!” Tatiana yelled out in frustration. She hadn’t anticipated Isabella’s apathy toward the situation.

Tatiana believed Isabella wouldn’t realize the severity until it was too late. She quickly made a call, saying, “You should visit Daman tomorrow. I’ll arrange for Corbett’s parents to be there to support you.”

“Thank you, Tatiana,” Isabella replied, her tone dismissive.

As Tatiana exited the caf?, someone accidentally bumped into her, knocking her hat off.

Her face became visible, and the passerby reacted with shock. “Tatiana!”

Thinking it was a fan, Tatiana responded, “Would you like an autograph?”

“You bitch!”

Out of nowhere, Tatiana received a sharp slap across her face. Stunned, she looked at the person, who was furiously yelling, “Hey, everyone! Tatiana is right here. This woman has wronged so many, and now she dares to have coffee here like nothing happened. Absolutely shameless!”

Bystanders quickly turned their attention.

Tatiana’s scandals were so widespread that almost everyone recognized her. A crowd swiftly formed around her.

As the crowd and their disdainful stares intensified, Tatiana trembled and began retreating, only to fall over. People started throwing objects at her.

“How can you be so heartless? How could you destroy the lives of others?”

“Should we call the police on her?”

“Tatiana, just go to hell!”

Trash and various items were thrown at Tatiana, quickly covering her in grime and leaving her reeking. On the brink of tears, Tatiana yelled in rage, “Do you all have a death wish?”

These ignorant fools! She was from the prestigious Fernandez family, and yet they dared to treat her this way—did they not fear the consequences?

But no one listened to Tatiana’s furious rants. The crowd continued to vent their fury until the police arrived. Only then could Tatiana escape, though she was now a filthy, unrecognizable mess. Enraged, Tatiana said, “I’ll sue you!”

The police were already familiar with Tatiana’s wrongdoings and showed no sympathy. One of them firmly said, “Miss Fernandez, it turns out we were actually looking for you. Please come with us.”

Tatiana was shocked and found herself being escorted back to the police station. She had committed several severe crimes, such as framing, slander, and defamation. The situation left Tatiana dizzy, and she pleaded, “I’ll pay whatever it costs; just let me go!”

Meanwhile, Isabella returned to her company and called Andrew to discuss Tatiana’s latest antics. “Can you believe it? Does Tatiana really think I’d fall for something so ludicrous?” Isabella scoffed.

Andrew paused to think. “She might not be lying to you.”

Isabella was taken aback. “What do you mean by that?”

“Sweetheart, it’s not what you think. I genuinely believe Tatiana thinks someone is carrying my child.”

“Why would she think that?” Isabella asked, frowning.

“I’m not entirely sure yet, but I believe it will become clear soon,” Andrew responded.

Isabella looked skeptical.

Andrew’s “soon” came quicker than expected. The next morning, Andrew woke up in his villa and received a call from Daman. “Come home now!” Daman was livid.

Andrew remained composed. “Okay, Grandpa.”

He then called Isabella, saying, “That woman must have talked to my grandfather. He’s summoned me back.”

“Do you want me to come?”

“The woman who’s supposedly pregnant with your child?” Isabella quirked an eyebrow. “I’ll pass. You handle it.”

Andrew then drove back to Klein Manor alone. In the living room of Klein Manor, Daman sat in the center of the sofa, his presence imposing and commanding despite his age. Beside Daman sat Sarai and Courtney.

Courtney held a report in one hand while her other hand rested on her stomach. She gazed at Andrew with eyes brimming with tears. Daman was also present.

“You bastard!”

As Andrew stepped in, Daman, enraged, hurled a cup at him.

Andrew sidestepped the cup and approached to pour water for Daman. “Grandpa, let’s stay calm. We can discuss this without—“

Yet, Daman’s anger only intensified. “Andrew, you were the one I always held in high regard, and now look at what you’ve done!”

Andrew turned to Courtney, who, with tearful eyes, explained, “Andrew, I couldn’t get in touch with you, so I had to come to your grandpa.”

“Why are you trying to contact me?” Andrew inquired coldly.

Courtney was no longer as nervous as before when confronted with Andrew’s indifferent attitude. Tatiana was right; no man could resist a woman dressed provocatively, Andrew included.

“Andrew, I am carrying your child,” Courtney said, placing the pregnancy report on the table.

Andrew briefly glanced at it. It confirmed she was over a week pregnant. “So?” Andrew responded, unfazed.

Courtney was taken aback but still played the part of the distressed. “Andrew, I would have never tried to disturb your life if I hadn’t gotten pregnant. This child is yours, and I need to know your thoughts.”

“The child isn’t mine. Do whatever you need to,” Andrew said, his face expressionless.

Was Andrew really trying to evade his responsibilities? “Andrew, how can you say such a thing?” Courtney frowned, appearing deeply wounded. “I know you’re reluctant to acknowledge it, but this child is indeed ours.”

Sarai couldn’t hold back her anger any longer. “Mr. Klein, Andrew has slept with my daughter, and now she’s pregnant. But he shows no concern. How does he view my daughter? Does he think he can mistreat her just because my husband is in prison?”

Daman shot Andrew a stern look. “Andrew, explain yourself properly.”

Frustrated, Andrew turned to Courtney, his expression cold. “Courtney, you say the child is mine. Can you prove that?”

“Andrew, that night was my first time, and you were the only one I’ve been with,” Courtney said, her voice trembling, her face turning red.

“I don’t remember ever being intimate with you,” Andrew retorted sharply.

Courtney was taken aback. How could he deny such a thing? “Andrew, are you really going to deny any involvement with me?” She looked deeply hurt, as if she might break down at any second.

Dora, who had been quietly observing, was secretly thrilled with the unfolding drama. She hadn’t anticipated Andrew facing such a scandal. If Andrew ended up tied to Courtney, it could boost Corbett’s success in taking over the Klein Group.

Dora looked at Daman and said earnestly, “Daman, the child Courtney is carrying would be your first great-grandchild. Perhaps we should allow her to have the baby. It’s a good thing that our family is welcoming a new member. Isn’t a great-grandchild what you’ve always wanted?”

Daman did desire a great-grandchild, but not under such questionable circumstances. His anger was palpable as he stared at Andrew. “You absolutely did not sleep with Courtney,” Andrew asserted firmly.

Courtney burst into tears, feeling unjustly treated. Sarai, deeply hurt by her daughter’s ordeal, fixed Andrew with a stern look. “You have to make things right. She’s my only daughter, and I won’t tolerate her being treated poorly.”

Sarai then addressed Daman, saying, “Mr. Klein, I know you to be a man of fairness and justice. Please ensure Courtney isn’t made to suffer unnecessarily. We will take our leave now, but we expect a proper response from you.”

With that, Sarai and Courtney exited.

Daman, seething, grabbed something from the table, poised to throw it at Andrew, but Andrew intervened. “Grandpa, please relax. The child isn’t mine.”

“They’ve come here to tell us this, and you still deny it?” Daman exploded with rage. “How could you betray Isabella and her family like this?”

“It’s not mine, I assure you,” Andrew said, raising his hand slowly. “Courtney must be confusing me with someone else.”

Dora gave a chilling smirk. “Andrew, are you denying this now but secretly planning to force Courtney to terminate the pregnancy? That would be incredibly harsh. For a woman, getting pregnant only to face a miscarriage is like enduring hell.”

“Dora, are you so knowledgeable about this because you’ve been through it yourself?” Andrew stared coldly at Dora.

Dora was taken aback. In the past, Bruno had many affairs that resulted in pregnancies. Dora had indeed orchestrated abortions, but there was no way she would admit that. She said, “I’m just trying to say that since Courtney believes it’s you, dismissing her feelings so harshly isn’t right.”
