Andrew replied, “Nothing. I just wanted to chat. What have you been discussing for so long?”

“Nothing significant,” Isabella said.

“Okay, it’s getting late. Are you going to bed?” he asked.

“Yeah, you should get some rest too.”

Since it was late, they kept the conversation brief and ended the call.

After the call, Andrew looked at his phone and pursed his lips slightly. That’s when he saw Maxine’s latest tweet.

Maxine had said, “I declare that my boss is the best boss in the world!”

Someone responded, “Are you referring to Dane?” Maxine quickly clarified, “Oh, not Dane Patton—I’m talking about Isabella Patton, his sister.”

“Anyone who gets that kind of love from Maxine must be incredible.”

“Hold on, did Maxine borrow her outfit today from Sierra?”

The comments were overflowing with admiration.

One comment read, “Why does it seem like Maxine and Isabella are a perfect pair? Just look at them together!” This comment was attached to a photo from the fashion show in which Isabella stood next to Maxine. Both were breathtaking—Isabella exuded grace and sophistication while Maxine radiated energy and charm. They really did appear to be a perfect pair.

Out of the blue, many netizens began discussing the two of them.

Andrew’s expression grew grim as he skimmed through the comments. Frustrated, he promptly phoned his assistant.

Within minutes, those types of comments disappeared from the internet.

The night passed quietly and peacefully. The following morning, Isabella got up as planned and headed to Andrew’s house for breakfast.

She had a surprise in store for him. Andrew had expressed his desire for her to tie his tie yesterday, and Isabella, who hadn’t known how to do it before, had practiced at home that morning and felt confident now.

After they finished breakfast, Isabella offered, “Let me help you with your tie.”

Andrew looked at her, first with surprise and then with a hint of intrigue. However, he quickly composed himself and managed to hide his reaction from her. With a smile, he stood up and went to change clothes.

He put on a custom-tailored white suit today, featuring detailed embroidery on the cuffs that gave it a distinguished and impressive look. Coupled with his inherent charisma, this outfit made him simply impossible to overlook.

Isabella couldn’t help but imagine how Andrew would captivate the world if he ever chose to become a model.

He handed her a tie. Isabella began to tie it, but what looked easy in the video proved to be much more challenging in reality. After several tries, she found it still wasn’t coming out right. She undid the knot and tried again, but it still wasn’t quite right.

Noticing the adorable frown on her face, Andrew couldn’t help but smile. However, when Isabella tightened the tie a bit too much, it made him cough.

“Oh, I’m so sorry!” Isabella said apologetically. “This is my first attempt at this.”

“It’s fine. You can give it a few more tries,” he replied, taking a deep breath.

“How does this look?” she asked after another try. The tie was a bit crooked but looked fairly good overall. Andrew smiled and gently ran his hand through Isabella’s hair, saying softly, “Sweetheart, you’re great at everything.”

Isabella blinked in surprise and asked, “Is this really what you’d call great?”

“Definitely. I wasn’t as skilled as you when I first learned to tie a tie,” he assured her.

His words comforted Isabella, making her believe that everyone thought it wasn’t as simple as it appeared. She resolved to improve next time.

After dropping Isabella off at her company, Andrew went to Klein Group. His arrival at the company immediately drew attention from everyone in the lobby.

Wherever he went, people bowed to greet him. Andrew acknowledged them with a nod, keeping his usual composed demeanor. His assistant trailed him.

“Mr. Klein, today’s schedule is—“

As the assistant went over the schedule, he noticed Andrew’s tie, and his face showed a moment of surprise. Given that he had a client soon, the assistant hesitated before politely asking, “Mr. Klein, would you like me to fix your tie?”

Andrew’s long fingers adjusted the tie as he asked, “What’s the matter? Does my tie look unusual today?”

“My girlfriend tied it for me.”

The assistant quickly grasped the situation. It turned out that it was Isabella who tied Andrew’s tie. No wonder it was crooked. Of course, the assistant kept this thought to himself. As a competent assistant, he needed to understand his boss’s needs precisely.

“It looks so beautiful. The future Mrs. Klein really knows how to tie a tie,” he remarked.

A slight smile appeared on Andrew’s lips, though his tone remained flat. “Double salary for this month.”

The assistant was taken aback. What had he done to deserve this? Why was there suddenly a pay raise? Wait, was it because he referred to Isabella as “Mrs. Klein”?

The assistant quickly decided to hold Isabella in high regard; he would need to impress her in the future. However, he recalled that Andrew had mocked Dane’s childish behaviors before, yet now Andrew seemed just as childish.

Andrew’s first appointment of the day was to go over cooperation details with Dane. Dane’s previous somber expression had been replaced by a cheerful demeanor recently. The once grumpy man was now genuinely in a good mood, no longer masking his feelings.

As Andrew arrived, Dane immediately noticed the tie. Raising an eyebrow, he asked, “What’s this? Did you wake up late today?”

“Why do you think that?” Andrew asked.

Dane lifted his chin and replied, “Your tie.”

Andrew ran his slender fingers over the tie and said, “Ah, I see. Isabella tied this for me. What do you think?”

His tone was casual, but it was clear he was showing off. Dane felt a pang of jealousy. His sister had tied Andrew’s tie, but she hadn’t done the same for him yet. Even though Dane had accepted Andrew as his future brother-in-law, he still felt a bit envious seeing their close interaction. It stung even more knowing that his sister, who had just reunited with their family, would soon be taken away.

Dane’s voice became icy. “Really? That’s…”

“Your tie looks good today. Did Susan tie it for you?”

“She was at the hospital; I tied it myself.”

“I see.”

The assistant who came in with coffee couldn’t help but feel awkward hearing their conversation. Who would have guessed that these top executives would be discussing ties in the reception room? If people knew, they’d be utterly shocked.

Meanwhile, Isabella was unaware that Andrew was showing off the tie she had tied. She immediately reviewed the PR materials upon arriving at the company.

The PR director said, “Miss Patton, publishing these will definitely damage Tatiana’s reputation. But with her large fan base, many of whom are rather loyal, it might not affect her too much.”

“When did I say these were all?” Isabella asked.

As the director looked puzzled, Isabella snapped her fingers. A few girls emerged. They varied in height and build, but they all looked quite worn out. Despite their tired appearances, it was clear they had once been quite beautiful.

The director was taken aback, but even more so when she recognized one of the girls. She was a star who had been pushed out of the spotlight a few years ago due to scandals. Her troubles weren’t supposed to be over yet.

“Thank you so much,” Isabella said, inviting the girls to sit on the sofa while she personally poured water for them.

They all looked uneasy. One of them asked, “Miss Patton, can you really ensure that Tatiana won’t retaliate against us?”

“Once you’ve spoken the truth, I’ll have bodyguards keep an eye on you. Tatiana won’t risk making a move right now. If she tries anything, everyone will know about it in no time,” Isabella assured them calmly. “Tatiana isn’t someone who has the right to act recklessly. She has the reputations of both the Fernandez and Klein families to consider, so she won’t ruin herself just to get back at you.”

They felt relieved upon hearing this. “Who would like to go first?” Isabella asked.

One of the girls spoke up, “I’ll go first. Tatiana completely destroyed my life. I never slept with that director; it was Tatiana who wanted my role and set me up. The director was in on it with her. After everything blew up, he tried to blackmail me into sleeping with him, promising he’d clear things up if I did. I knew he wouldn’t keep his word, so I refused. But I never imagined—“

She broke down in tears. “Tatiana framed me and drugged me. I woke up and they were already at the door. My fans lost all trust in me. I even thought about ending my life, but I couldn’t leave my grandmother behind. If I died, she’d have nothing left. So, I decided to keep going, just for her. But no matter how hard I try, I can’t earn enough to pay off the penalty for breach of contract.”

She buried her face in her hands and sobbed.

The other girls’ eyes grew red with emotion as they shared their miseries, all caused by Tatiana. Each story was heart-wrenching. These girls could have had promising futures, but now their lives were as bleak as if they were dead, all because of Tatiana.

The PR director, accustomed to many things, couldn’t help but feel deep loathing for Tatiana. How could someone be so cruel?
