Filed To Story: Mated To Big Brother-in-law
“In the name of the orphanage, you are doing this?”
“What will you do to me? I called my men. They will be here in no time. Your martial art won’t work on them. They are trained fighters.”
Sophia could help but feel like laughing.
“Foolish man, trained fighters can’t protect you from him. He is the biggest fighter in this pack, Gamma Abraham.”
Everyone’s eyes widened. They immediately stepped back in fear.
The Gamma himself had come there!
“W-We didn’t know she was your sister,” the old man said with a respectful tone.
Abraham sneered at him. “I would have killed you if I had come here alone. But since the main authority is here, I have to leave you to him.”
Sophia frowned when she heard Abraham.
“The main authority? What is he talking about?’ she thought.
The women let out a scream when they saw some men entering the hall. Those men circled the whole hall and stood straight without moving their gazes.
Then Sophia felt the scent entering the hall, which she wanted to avoid.
Her eyes landed on the man who entered the hall in a gloomy mood.
Almost immediately, the people of the orphanage and Alpha Moen fell on their knees when they realized who had come to the orphanage.
“All hail to our head Alpha.”
Sophia’s eyes froze on Bryan. As he walked inside, his gaze moved around until it settled on her.
Sophia immediately turned her head away from him. Abraham came to her and hugged her.
“Are you okay?”
Sophia nodded her head in response. She kept quiet since the other man’s presence was making her feel awkward.
“Brother, why is he here? I called you, not him,” she mumbled to her brother.
Abraham rubbed her hair and replied,
“When I was talking to you, I was with him in the pack house.”
Hearing about the pack house made her feel annoyed. Mila was living in the pack house right now. This might be the reason why Bryan went to the pack house.
“Sophia, your fever hasn’t lessened yet. Why did you come outside today?” Her brother asked that.
She glanced at Bryan. He was the reason she came out today. She wanted to break every tie with him. The tie of her heart that he was wrapping around his fingers.
The old man who was in charge of the orphanage cried out on the floor while kneeling.
“My Alpha, forgive us.”
“Yes, yes. Alpha, forgive us. We didn’t do anything,” the other woman said.
“What’s going on?” Bryan asked Abraham.
Abraham looked at Bryan and replied,
“Sophia said this orphanage was selling that young girl to this man.”
Bryan’s eyes shifted to Alpha Moen. A frown formed in his face.
“Alpha, I didn’t buy her. I adopted her. You can check all the papers.”
“Why do you need to adopt a child? Don’t you have any children?” Bryan asked.
One of Bryan’s men grabbed the chair where the old man was sitting a while ago and positioned it behind Bryan to sit.
Bryan sat on the chair and lit a cigarette.
Sophia did not move from the floor. She did not even try to stand up.
Abraham stood up, since he was with Sophia a while ago, to hug her.
He then walked up to Bryan and stood next to him. Even though he was furious, he managed to gather himself in front of Bryan.
“Alpha, I thought that since I don’t have a girl child “
“Where are your papers?” Bryan asked while taking a long drag from his cigarette.
Unlike other days, he did not attempt to make eye contact with Sophia.
Sophia wanted to see what this man would do to this Alpha.
Wasn’t he also doing the same with her?
One of the women told Bryan that the papers were in the director’s office.
Bryan’s men went into the office and removed every document they could find. The old man’s eyes widened, but he tried to compose himself.
“Deed number?” Bryan asked the old man.
“3-365,” the old man stuttered in reply.
Bryan signaled his man to search for the file as he muttered,
“Do you mean the 365 number girl you sold?”
Everyone gasped, as they did not know what they would do if Bryan got any proof against them.
Bryan’s men found the deed and handed it to him. Bryan grimaced as he read the file.
Sophia stared at him. She felt a twinge of bitterness on his handsome face. He looked very calm, as if he would let go of these people after some scolding.
“Just two thousand dollars?” he questioned, shifting his gaze to Alpha Moen.
Sophia’s jaw clenched.
‘This man only knows business. I knew it. He will never take care of this matter since he is making a profit from it. He doesn’t care about other girls’ innocence,’ she thought.
Alpha Moen’s eyes lit up as he slowly stood up, thinking that money could solve the matter.
“Alpha, we can negotiate. If you want me to pay a high price for this girl, I can do so. Just…”
He glanced at Rose, who was shaking in fear, then said,
“Allow me to have this girl.”
Abraham could not help himself and dashed towards the man. He kicked his stomach.
“How dare you talk about a little girl like that?”
“Abraham.”
Bryan’s voice paused Abraham as he turned to him. He walked back to stand next to him again.
“I’m sorry, Alpha. I couldn’t control myself.”
Bryan looked at him, flickering the ash from his cigarette. “You have to control your anger since you are the Gamma of this pack.”
“Yes, Alpha,” he replied, lowering his head.
Bryan turned his head to the man and thought for a moment, then spoke out.
“Ten million dollars.”
The man was lying on the floor, grabbing his stomach in pain. But hearing Bryan, he stopped struggling as his eyes grew wider.
“T-Ten million dollars? F-For buying that girl?”
Sophia felt disgusted by Bryan. She could not believe that he asked for a large amount of money, and in return, he could let the man take the young girl.
She was about to speak up when she heard Bryan again.
“For engaging in illegal business in my pack.”
Alpha Moen’s eyes almost popped up.
