My wolf howled inside me. I bit my lower lip and surged out of his cabin.

Everyone was staring at me as I emerged from his cabin. It appeared as though someone had informed them of the accusations and the photos.

I felt so humiliated that I wanted the ground to move underneath me and bury me inside it.

Tearfully, I hurried to my cabin. No matter how much I wiped my tears, they streamed out of my eyes again.

After grabbing my phone and backpack, I left my cabin.

I sobbed as I tried to walk past others.

When I went to the lobby area, people began to gather around me.

“She is a traitor!”

I heard people talking about me. It hurt me. How would I make them believe that I did not do anything?

I noticed Lily looking at me in the crowd. My legs froze.

“Why did you do that to me?” I asked her in front of everyone.

She was taken aback, and she asked,

“What are you saying?”

“Why did you lie to Alpha? I didn’t talk about anything with Alpha Oliver regarding any project.”

Lily pretended like I was lying. She looked at everyone and asked,

“Why would I lie? I have been working for Alpha for so long.”

“Yes, yes. Why would Miss Lily lie? You are the one who disclosed our information to another pack.”

I saw Lily sneering at me. I remembered that I heard her talking with someone in her cabin.

Could it be that she was the one?

I was frightened by how other workers were accusing me and pointing fingers at me.

My lips began to quiver as I found everything blurred around me. I blinked my eyes and tried to look clearly as tears filled them entirely.

I tried to go outside, but the employees did not let me go as they started to humiliate me.

I had never done anything in my life to bear this humiliation.

“What is happening here?”

Everyone heard a deep voice. They immediately moved away from me.

I saw Bryan coming in my direction. He took one look around and understood what was going on.

“Why are you still here?” he asked me, making his voice loud so that others could hear him.

I just stared at him without replying.

This man did not believe me and let others humiliate me like this!

Why did he hate me so much?

I turned around and walked to the gate of the company to leave.

“She did not even bow to Alpha!” I heard whispers behind me.

With tears in my eyes and a shattered heart, I left the company.

Third POV

It had been three days since Bryan fired Sophia from his company.

He was mad at her. He had observed her for a whole month through the window and was very impressed by her work skills. However what she had done to his company with Alpha Oliver was something he could not take.

Why did she do that? He even paid her more than enough. How much money did she want that she had to shake hands with another pack’s Alpha?

A knock disturbed his thought and he permitted the person to enter the cabin.

“Come in.”

The door opened and Troy, his company’s financial director, entered the cabin.

“Alpha,” he said and bowed his head.

Bryan gazed at him. By looking at him, he remembered the night when he saw Sophia going with him. Troy had told him that he was waiting for her.

“What happened?” Bryan asked him, inquiring to know why he came here.

“Alpha, I wanted to give you this file you asked for.”

Troy walked to his desk and handed him a file. Bryan grabbed it and started to review the information inside the file.

As Troy watched Bryan checking the file carefully, he gulped in nervousness.

Recently Bryan’s mood was terrible so every employee of the company was afraid of him.

Last night Troy was going back to his home when he got a call from Bryan. He asked him to check on every employee’s bank account.

“Alpha, may I know why did you check on our accounts?” he asked in a lower tone, praying in head that his question would not offend his Alpha.

Instead of answering his question, Bryan shifted his gaze from the file and looked at him,

“How do you know Sophia Berge?”

Troy was taken aback by the question. Everyone in the company knew that Sophia got fired from the company three days ago. Though people said that it was her who betrayed them, Troy did not believe it.

However he was an employee of the company, how could he provide justice to her? He could only say to the people around him that there might be some misunderstanding. She is my mom’s friend’s daughter. So we are family friends.”

Bryan raised an eyebrow when he heard Troy. He thought Troy would say something else or even if Sophia became his friend, the reason behind it would have been something else.

“Family friends?” Bryan muttered.

“Yeah, Alpha.” Troy replied. He thought for a brief moment and said,

“Alpha, please forgive me if I say much but I think Sophia is innocent. I mean she didn’t even know about the pack meeting. I was the one who discussed it with her. I told her that we all were assuming that someone had disclosed our information to another pack.”

His words reminded him that Sophia had said the same thing to him.

“You can go back to your work now.”

Bryan’s voice came out in a cold tone which sent shivers to Troy. He bowed his head once again and left the cabin.

Bryan glanced at the door which Toy had just closed after leaving the room.

His eyes shifted on the window from where he could see the empty room.

Watching Sophia from the window had become his habit. So now whenever his eyes fell on the empty room, he felt unease in his heart.

He refocused his attention on the file. As Troy told him a while ago that there might be some misunderstanding, he also felt that in these three days.

For some unknown reason, his heart did not agree with the fact that Sophia had done that.

Though Lily herself was the evidence of Sophia’s truth, still something was urging him inside.

Surprisingly only a few people received a big sum of money last week.

One by one, he reviewed every single employee’s last transaction. His eyes paused on the account who got the largest figure.

His eyes narrowed when he looked at the name of the account.

“Lily Jain?”

He grabbed his phone and dialed a number. When the call connected, the other person spoke out,

“Alpha”

It was Noble, the delta of his pack.

“I’m sending you a bank account number. I want every single detail of the transaction ID of the people who sent her money.” Bryan said to him.

“Okay, Alpha. I got it.”
