Filed To Story: Mated To Big Brother-in-law
He was shocked. “What are you saying?”
“Y-Yes, brother.”
He held my hands and took me downstairs.
Mila was seated on the couch with Uncle Harry and Aunt Juliana alongside her. She was crying.
I felt really bad for her. She may love Bryan a lot. I turned my gaze away from them.
“Where is Alpha?” Abraham asked them.
“Just now, he left. But what did he say?” Uncle Harry asked while glancing at me.
“Nothing.” Abraham replied and was about to leave with me when Mila spoke out,
“Stop.”
We came to a halt and turned our attention to her.
She got to her feet and walked toward me.
“You can’t have him. He is mine. He loves me. I don’t care about the rules. Only I can be Alpha Bryan’s Luna. Cheap girls like you can’t be his Luna.”
“Control your tongue before speaking. She is my sister.” Abraham warned as he looked at her.
I was not surprised. To protect me, he could argue with anyone.
He dragged me outside and left my hand.
He ran his fingers through his hair. It showed that he was worried and anxious.
I did not know what to say to him. Because of me, he lost his position.
When we returned home, my brother told my mother about his losing position. We could not say anything to her about my mate thing.
It would be more difficult for us to handle.
My mother was shocked after hearing about my brother. It was my brother’s dream. He had worked hard for so long just to become the gamma of this pack.
“MOM!”
My mother fell to the ground as she clutched her clothes in her chest.
We rushed to the pack hospital. She got admitted.
“She had a mild stroke. Please don’t tell her about any problem. Her health is critical. She was already having heart problems. Now, it attacked her heart mildly. But she can not endure anything again.”
I looked at my brother. Did I hear right? My mother was having heart problems? When? Why didn’t she inform us of it?
The doctor said, “You can meet her. But only one person at a time,” and walked away.
I told my brother to go first.
I was outside. I was able to hear them. I sobbed as I observed them conversing.
“Why did he fire you? It was your dream. You worked so hard for it. I think there must be a misunderstanding, Abraham.”
It was not just his position but his dream. It was his prestige in the pack.
He lowered his head. “I will try to talk to him, Mom.”
“You are his Gamma. I heard officials are like friends to Alpha. Try to settle the things with him.”
My brother did not tell her about me. My mother would die if she heard that.
I turned around, wiping away the tears. I could not allow this to occur. It was all my fault that things were going wrong.
After leaving the pack hospital, I took a cab to go to the pack house.
When I reached the pack house, it was late at night. The whole pack house area was empty, as if all the guests had left.
I tried to enter the house, but the guards stopped me.
“I need to talk to Alpha.”
“We can’t let you enter.”
“I am Gamma Abraham’s sister. Tell him I need to talk to him.”
After going inside for a minute, one of them returned outside.
“He said Gamma Abraham and his family are not allowed in the pack house. You can go back.”
I refuse to go. I stood outside. I requested the guards, and I almost begged them.
But they said it was Alpha’s order, so I would have to leave.
“Tell him that I will not leave until he talks to me.”
I decided to stand outside the pack house.
A lot of time passed, but there was no sight of Alpha Bryan.
I felt my legs wobble. I forgot to take my phone with me. Mother and Abraham must be worried for me.
Four hours had passed since I had stood there.
I could not feel my legs anymore. They were numb.
The sun was rising at the moment.
From outside, my gaze went to the second story.
I gasped when I saw Bryan standing at the window.
He was staring at me.
At that time, a guard hurried over to me and said,
“Alpha is calling you inside.”
Third POV
At the moment that Sophia entered the pack house, Bryan diverted his gaze away from her.
The look in his eyes was deadly.
He was calm. It was silent before the storm.
There was no doubt in his mind that she was plotting something. If that was not the case, how did she manage to get in front of his cars?
She even acted as if she were going to pass out in front of him. If her brother had not come to take her, he would have thrown her somewhere in the road.
He knew these types of girls really well. Whenever he walked past girls, they only wanted to grab his attention. Just like she tried to do yesterday.
He was angry about how she accused his brother just because she saw she became the head Alpha’s mate. He assumed she was up to Luna’s position now.
“Bryan, what are you thinking?” His father, Harry Morrison, asked. He was walking back and forth in the room.
“Dad, relax.”
“Relax? How can I relax? You brought the daughter of Moon Valley’s Alpha here. What should we do now? What do you plan to do to deal with the situation?”
He frowned at his father. “Do you think I am afraid of the Alpha of the Moon Valley Pack?”
“What? I never said that.”
“Dad, maybe you can be afraid of these types of things, but I don’t.”
“Brya…”
“I am a businessman. I only know the business. He was the one who proposed the marriage one year ago. In order to fulfill the terms of the alliance contract, I agreed to marry his daughter.”
“So now you will cancel the deal?”
“Never.”
Harry was about to say something, but a knock on the door interrupted him.
