As they open the attack, I can immediately tell they are possibly the worst fighters I have ever encountered or seen. Only 2 of them try to stalk around me whilst the other 2 lunge at me immediately, and doing a very poor job at it too. Without even stretching a muscle, I am able to claw both their throats open with one paw each, dropping them to the ground. The other 2 wolves are now snarling and growling loudly. One of them seems to be unable to contain his emotions – which is always a bad move in a fight – and lunges at me directly from my left side. Without as much as a struggle I avoid his attack by sidestepping, whilst immediately jumping on top of him and ripping his throat out with my mouth. I can taste his blood on my tongue, and it’s absolutely disgusting. I have to suppress the urge to vomit. We quickly turn around to have the last wolf in our vision. Never keep your eyes off the enemy. The wolf is snarling viciously like he wants to rip us limb to limb, but isn’t moving yet, as if he is weighing his options. Suddenly, he turns around and jolts away from us. ‘Lola he can’t make it out alive, we have to finish him!’. We race off towards the wolf, taking big strides. Liberty’s form is mind-blowingly fast and agile as it only takes a few seconds for us to reach the wolf trying to run away from us. Without further ado, I grab and bite down hard on the wolf’s hind leg, hearing the snapping of his bones and a loud whimper from the wolf. Not wasting any time and wanting this to be over with, we bite down on his neck until we hear a loud pop and his body becomes limp.
Liberty quickly shifts back to my human and now fully naked form, so nobody else will be able to spot us. I head back towards the girl and my bag to find her still unconscious. Quickly putting on some clothes, I contemplate what to do with the girl now. I can’t leave her here out in the open to be grabbed by the next rogue, but I can’t exactly walk into a pack’s territory either. ‘We can drop her off at the border, but she might still not be as safe. Or we can wait until she wakes, with the risk of more rogues approaching though. The fight wasn’t exactly quiet..’ ‘yeah, I’d go for the first option. We need to get her to safety’. Although this is going to be exhausting, carrying my bag as well as another woman, after having barely eaten anything for over a day. Sighing, I scoop the girl up and walk towards the direction the men came from earlier.
After an hour of walking, the girl awakes and starts to thrash and scream violently in my arms. “Shhhh it’s okay you are safe now” I say in my most soft spoken voice, wearing my most sympathetic smile as I set her down on the ground. “Where am I? what happened??” panic visibly setting across her face. “When I saw you, you were unconscious and being carried away by 4 rogues – do you remember what happened, how they got a hold of you?” while handing her a bottle of water which she gulps down like a man out in the desert, poor thing. “I… I was walking from the pack house towards my own, when 3 men stepped in front of me blocking my path. From thereon I don’t know what happened, my vision blackened, and I guess I lost consciousness”. “OK. Well I am not really familiar in this territory, do you know how we can get you back to your pack? I will drop you off at the border to make sure you are safe”. “But what about you? Where are you from? We need to get you back safely as well!” what a sweet girl I think to myself, luckily the *ssholes trying to get to her are dead. “Thank you for asking, but I don’t have a pack and I am just looking to get to a human town peacefully” I smile reassuringly while she gasps at my words. “But you are a female, you can’t be in unclaimed land do you know how dangerous it is out here? Let’s get back to my pack and I will talk to the Alpha to..” and I have to interrupt her there as I have no desire of ever returning to a pack “no need for that, but thank you for offering. I have made up my mind and I will be OK on my own out here. Now let’s get you out of here as it isn’t safe for you”. With a baffled expression she slowly stands up, seemingly wanting to say something more, but deciding against it.
We walk towards her pack borders for a few hours in silence, before we finally see an outpost indicating pack territory. “Are you sure you don’t want to come? I am positive the Alpha would be OK” “I am sure sweet. Now please go home, your family must be worried sick. And please take care of yourself. It was nice meeting you, regardless of the circumstances” I smile. She smiles back at me, saying “thank you for everything” before hugging me and wandering off towards the outpost. Once she is out of sight I breathe a sigh of relief that she is safe, happy as ever that I was able to help an innocent girl today.
** 2 weeks later **
Chris POV
It has been 2 weeks since Lola went rogue. 2 whole f*cking. weeks. My father has sent out numerous rescue parties to no avail, it is like she disappeared into thin air. Nobody was able to get any trace of her at all, not even Cezar that night. Speaking of whom, he still hasn’t spoken to me since that evening, unless it was concerning her. He is really starting to piss me off with his silent treatment. He even refuses to shift and train, or even go for a run for that matter, which he usually loves. I know he blames me for everything and is disappointed we lost a pack member because of it, but enough is enough at some point. I will need to find a way to bring him back out, because an Alpha without a wolf is pathetic.
We have also sent out the word to all the packs in our close proximity to keep an eye out, as well as the royal pack as we are legally obliged to inform them of such events. Needless to say all packs were shocked a female decided to go rogue voluntarily, everyone realizes she is either dead or facing an even unhappier fate by now being held captive to get r*ped. I know it is hypocritical for me to even think about feeling bad about that, as the reason this all happened is because I also tried to force something that night, but she enraged me so much that night. And rogue wolves are vile and nasty creatures. I am a good looking Alpha, any lady would have been begging me to f*ck their mouths, anyone except Lola.
