Xavier was sleeping soundly, but woke up with a start as he landed on the floor. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and crawled back into bed, then hugged her and said, “Baby, stop messing around!”
He dozed off again, and Leia was at a loss for words. She wanted to kick him away but he hugged her like they were a couple who had made up with each other after a fight. She couldn’t bear to kick him away either.
“Forget it. What an ill-fated relationship!” She heaved a long sigh and let him hug her as they slept.
Since they were so exhausted, they slept until late morning the next day. They slowly woke up after the crew were almost done preparing for the shooting.
“Why are you here? Didn’t you sleep in the cowshed?” Xavier looked at the woman in his arms and asked, smiling. He didn’t know that Leia had snuck back into the room and kicked him off the bed.
“Hmph! I won’t sleep in that kind of place.” Leia got up and changed her clothes, then went to wash up.
Xavier also quietly changed his clothes and washed up before he went to open the door. When he opened the door, the camera team and the director immediately went to him. They had been waiting at the door.
“Mr. Stuart, why didn’t you tell us that you were coming to visit? We were so busy preparing things for you…” Adam Jiminez, the director, smiled brightly. “Universal Entertainment is the biggest sponsor of Happy Days, so you’re our benefactor. Do you have any new orders for the show? Please tell us, and well change it until you’re satisfied.”
Xavier had met a lot of people like this, so he remained calm. “There’s indeed something you need to change.”
“Please tell us. We’re all ears. We can even change it now.”
“Pick a larger house next time and get more guest rooms. I didn’t sleep well last night and my neck is sore.” Xavier turned his neck and felt discomfort. He had been enjoying a comfortable life for so many years and had never slept so badly before.

Adam was put in a dilemma but he gritted his teeth and said, “It’s fine. Well resolve it. Well build a new house now. I think it’ll be done when we shoot the next season of Happy Days, so well invite you as a guest then.”
Xavier waved. “Alright, carry on with your work. I’m too busy to join a variety show.”
“Yeah, I overlooked that. You must be very busy, so you can’t join such a childish thing. I should have watched my tongue. ” Adam’s flattery filled Leia with discomfort. Flattering and bullying in the entertainment circle were indeed quite bold and outrageous. She recalled watching the interesting highlights of the behind-the-scenes of Happy Days. “Shirley?” When Shirley’s name was brought up, Adam’s expression changed. He had a lot of complaints about the fixed guest that was forced on the show. “I think she may be very busy. She generally comes way too late for shooting since people from the town will carry her here. I think she’s still sleeping at the moment, but she’ll get here soon. “Yeah, we’re not close but you’re pretty close to Xavier. He wanted to visit you, so I naturally came along.” Leia did not want to fall out with Shirley directly, so she used Xavier as an excuse.
“Really?” Shirley sounded surprised as she looked at Xavier eagerly. “Xavier, did… did you come for me?”
Xavier was speechless, and just shrugged helplessly.
“Yeah, Xavier came to ask you one thing. You talked to the main surgeon of the Fair Plastic Surgery Institution on the phone at 8.20 a.m. on the thirteenth of August, didn’t you?” Leia asked directly.

“Mr. Jiminez, didn’t you say we were about to start shooting? Why is everyone still standing here?” Shirley ignored Leia as she asked Adam sweetly.
“This…” Adam swallowed and looked at Xavier. “We were about to start but Mr. Stuart came, so it was delayed. We’re waiting for his order.”
“Just go ahead with your shooting. Don’t delay it because of us.” Xavier put his hands in his pockets and ordered.
Hence, the team started filming.
Based on the original script, Shirley would take a few guests up the mountain as the main heroine to pick mushrooms for today’s lunch. The mountain was a few miles away, so going up and down the mountain would easily take more than half a day.
That meant that Leia might lose the chance to confront Shirley.
“No!” Leia stepped forward and said suddenly, “Mr. Jiminez, didn’t you say you want to invite us as mystery guests? Why don’t Xavier and I be the mystery guests for this show and go pick mushrooms with Shirley?”
She felt that she would be able to get the truth out of Shirley as long as she was near her at all times.

The guests for every show were fixed in advance, and the script had already been finalized too. If two people joined the show all of a sudden without any script, accidents would happen very easily.
