Leia frowned. “Why were they fired?”
“One was five minutes late to work, and the other used a lipstick that was ‘the wrong color’. And another was fired because… her name sounds like yours. You’re Leah, and she’s Ayra Dixon. So, she was fired, but Mr. Stuart generously paid them all twice the usual amount of compensation,” the employee elaborated as if she was commenting on a book.
However, Xavier’s behaviour was indeed abnormal these days, like a character from a fantasy story.
The employees secretly guessed that his mood swings might either be related to Shirley or Leia. After all, he had changed only after meeting them. Shirley was a famous star with a tight daily schedule, so she rarely went to the headquarters of Universal Entertainment, but fortunately, Leia was here to save them.
They reached the top floor, and the door of the elevator opened automatically. However, the employee did not step out of the elevator, and instead cheered Leia on. “You can do it. I won’t go in with you, but you can call us if anything happens.”
When Leia stepped out of the elevator, the employee left quickly.
Leia huffed in irritation. ‘Why do I feel like I’m sacrificing myself?’
When she reached the door of Xavier’s office, she heard his angry roar from afar.
“Is your marketing department completely useless? How dare you sign on a novice with such poor skills? What makes them different from this trainee from Korshach? How competitive is this novice? I can easily find a better person. Get lost and reflect on your mistake!”
After that, a middle-aged man with black-rimmed glasses was driven out of the office with a The man pitifully squatted down on the floor to pick up the documents, looking unhappy.

Leia did not dwell much on it before she opened the door and entered the office. Unexpectedly, Xavier threw a stack of files at her.
“How dare you come back?! This proposal is even more ridiculous than the trainee you found!”
“Ah!” Before Leia could speak, a folder smacked her in the face, and she let out a pained scream.
“Why… Why are you here?” Xavier did not expect that Leia would come, and for a moment, he looked like a guilty child. However, after he regained his wits, he hurriedly rushed over and helped her up. He checked her head and face and asked worriedly, “How are you? Do you need to go to the hospital?”
“Go away!” Leia pushed him away and snapped, “You could use a gentler way if you wanted to kill me. You know I can’t stand pain.”

Leia sounded like an angry mother lecturing her son, and Xavier looked away guiltily.
“I… I’m sorry.’ Xavier was stunned, and spoke like a child who had made a mistake. “My employees can handle being rebuked. They won’t change if I don’t scold them, so I have to do this”
“Is that really the reason? You’re overly violent, so they don’t dare to resist.” Leia glared at him as she touched her swollen forehead, gritting her teeth in pain. “Did I wrong you? Why am I so unlucky whenever I meet you?”
“Come here, let me take a look.” Xavier pulled her hand away. When he saw a slight scratch on her forehead, he felt very sorry for her. He blew at the wound gently and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead.

“Hey, be quiet! People may think I did something bad to you. ” Leia saw how he held his chin and thought he was pretending, but she soon realized that he genuinely was in pain.
Xavier raised his head slightly, his eyes watering. “It hurts so bad!” Xavier did not even dare to swallow. “I think it’s dislocated.’

Xavier moved his chin, and to his surprise, it didn’t hurt as badly. Nonetheless, he wanted to bluff Leia. “No, it still hurts. Hmm, my face is going to be ruined now. What do you think you should do to compensate me?”
“It still hurts? That can’t be.” Leia frowned and took a step forward. She then grabbed his face again. “Should I do it again?”
“No, I’m fine now.” Xavier immediately dodged. He might die instead of merely ruining his face if he went through that again.
Leia realized he had tricked her, and became furious. “Can you be serious? Is it fun to fool me?”
“Yes, it’s fun!” Xavier smirked and got close to her. “I think it’s fun when we bicker. No one dares to argue with me except you, and it gets boring to have no one to drive me mad by my side.”
“So, you tried to get happiness from fooling me, and vented your anger on your employees when I wasn’t around.”
“No, that’s not it. You drove me mad, so I vented my anger out on them. In short, it was because of you that they suffered. You’re the culprit. You’ve wronged them, so shouldn’t you make up for it?”
“Xavier, you’re shameless!” Leia could not argue, so she crossed her arms over her chest and ignored him. After all, they were no longer a couple now, so his unruly behaviour had nothing to do with her.
Xavier became serious and started tending to her injury attentively. After that, he asked, “Why did you you find you couldn’t leave me after the breakup? Did you come here to get back together with me?”

“Shirley and I…” Xavier wanted to explain but Leia interrupted him.

Xavier frowned and became serious. “What is it?”
