Anastasia snuggled into his embrace. “Okay.” Willow returned to her room and called Jared to tell him she was safe. “Tell me. What exactly happened?” Jared worriedly asked.
“My savior’s name is Jasper Wyatt. He works for an international organization, I encountered some trouble during the dinner and accidentally interrupted his mission, causing him to lose his target. Because of that, his enemies tried to kill him. While protecting me, he was shot in the chest. His mission target then decided to target me.
