“Hey, you haven’t even agreed to the bet yet. Look at Jason, he has so much to offer! At least follow the rules!” Lina shouted.

“I’m willing to bet and accept the consequences!” Hadwin quickly put on his clothes and lifted his wife onto his shoulders. “When we get back, I’ll follow the rules.

Whatever you want me to take off, I’ll take off!”

“But… um, can you stop for a moment? Let’s walk later, why rush like this?”

“Who else do you want to stay and watch?!” Hadwin said impatiently.

As the sound of the opening and closing door faded away, only Grace and Jason were left in the private room.

Jason had already unbuttoned half of his shirt, and he raised his eyebrows slightly. “So, do you want to continue?”

Grace smiled and walked up to him, wrapping her arms around Jason’s neck. “Of course, we’ll continue when we get home. But if they don’t leave, will you really take off this shirt?”

“What do you think?” Jason calmly replied. “What about you? If

I continue to undress, will you let others watch?”

Grace stood on tiptoe and kissed Jason’s lips. “Guess!”

Everything else… is left unsaid…

Valda and Brian returned to the villa, and Valda said, “Why did you just carry me away like that?”

“What, were you planning to keep watching?” Brian raised his eyebrows slightly.

Valda blushed slightly. “I… I wasn’t!”

“None? Then who was staring at Jason?” he asked.

“I…I was just surprised,” she quickly explained. After all, Jason had started taking off his last piece of clothing.

“If I didn’t take you away, were you planning on continuing to watch?” Brian asked, his voice clearly tinged with jealousy.

“I…I would have turned my head and not looked,” she said, but it sounded like she lacked confidence.

“Is that so?” Brian picked up Valda and carried her towards the bed in the bedroom. “Even if you wanted to watch, I wouldn’t let you.”

As he spoke, he carefully put her down and began taking off his own clothes. “If you want to watch, you can only watch me.”

Her face immediately turned even redder. He knew how tempting he looked right now.

As Brian took off his clothes, he leaned down and kissed

Valda’s rosy cheeks. “What were you talking about before playing cards today? Your face turned red when you were chatting with them.”

“We…we weren’t talking about anything special, just…normal conversation,” she muttered. His delicate kisses kept falling on her cheeks, making her breath even more unstable. It was as if all the blood in her body was rushing to her face.

Without looking in the mirror, Valda could tell how red her face was just from the burning sensation.

“Is there really nothing?” Brian clearly had no intention of letting go of the topic.

“…Really.” She replied.

In a daze, she only felt his hands gently undoing her clothes, and his lips approaching her ear, his low voice ringing in her ear, “Then just talk to me about the ordinary things we were chatting about earlier. Let me know why you’re blushing.”

She became even more dizzy, his breath in her nose, her mind almost blank. “It’s…it’s about giving birth…they were telling me how to make it easier to give birth…”

The words came out of her mouth, and Valda finally understood how terrifying beauty could be. No wonder so many people have used it throughout history.

If she were a security agent, he could probably charm her into revealing anything he wanted.

“Children…” Brian said thoughtfully, kissing her face and neck one after another. “What did they say?”

“Just…do it more times, cast a wider net…” She stuttered, realizing what she had said only after the words had left her mouth.

Then she just wanted to bury herself in the covers!

Oh my god, what did she just say!

Brian raised an eyebrow and said, “I see. Since they came up with this idea, let’s give it a try and see if we can really have a child.”

As he finished speaking, he lay on top of her body…

The night was filled with indescribable tenderness.

A child…he also wanted to have a child.

Because it would be their child, he wanted it!

She had warmed his life and filled him with hope for the future.

And from now on, they would continue to be happy together with their child…

Valda’s first bout of vomiting occurred in the studio.

She was sketching when suddenly a wave of nausea hit her. She quickly got up, covered her mouth, and rushed to the bathroom where she vomited for a while. The feeling of nausea only subsided after a while.

“Valda, are you feeling unwell?” asked the assistant.

“My stomach feels a bit uncomfortable, maybe because I ate too much for breakfast,” said Valda.

When Brian came to pick up Valda after work in the afternoon, he noticed that she didn’t look too good.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, furrowing his brow.

At the moment, she looks a bit paler than usual.

“Maybe what I ate this morning didn’t sit well with me, so tonight I want to eat something lighter,” she said.

“Let’s have some porridge tonight, it’s easy to digest,” he said.

“Okay.” She didn’t have any objections.

So he drove and took her directly to a congee restaurant that she usually likes to eat at.

That is the Reed family’s relatively humble congee shop.

It’s currently dinner time and there are already quite a few customers.

After finding a seat, Valda and Brian ordered porridge. Valda noticed someone at the next table drinking sour plum juice and suddenly felt like having some too.

“What’s up? You keep looking over there?” Brian asked.

“I suddenly feel like having sour plum juice,” Valda said.

Brian glanced at the person next to them holding a cup of sour plum juice with a logo from a nearby beverage shop.

“Wait here, I’ll go buy it,” Brian said.

“Okay,” Valda nodded.

Brian got up and headed outside the porridge shop towards the beverage shop next door, while Valda stayed put and waited for their food to arrive.

Soon, the side dishes arrived and Valda took a bite, but suddenly felt nauseous. She covered her mouth and rushed towards the restroom in the porridge shop.

Brian bought the sour plum juice and returned to the porridge shop, only to find Valda’s seat empty.

Where was Valda?!

His heart suddenly panicked, he turned his head and looked around.

After scanning the area, Brian didn’t see Valda. His panic grew more and more evident, his body trembling involuntarily. Even the hand holding the sour plum juice was shaking, causing some of the juice to spill onto his hand.

Valda…she can’t be in trouble!

No matter what, she can’t be in trouble!

Valda spent a while vomiting in the bathroom, but finally stopped.

She took a deep breath and came to the sink to rinse her mouth and wipe her lips. Then she looked at herself in the mirror, her face pale and unattractive. If Brian saw her like this, he would worry again!

Unfortunately, she didn’t have any makeup tools with her to touch up her appearance.

Valda touched her face and then walked out of the bathroom.

As soon as she stepped out of the restroom, Valda saw Brian rushing towards her.

“Brian…” she started, but the next moment, he had already pulled her into a tight embrace.

He held her so tightly that she could feel his body trembling.

Valda was taken aback and heard whispers and gasps from the people around them.

“What’s wrong, Brian? Did something happen?” Valda asked, wondering why he was shaking like that.

“I’m just glad you’re okay and you’re here,” Brian gasped in relief.

“I…of course I’m here. Where else would I go?” Valda was confused, but then she realized something and asked, “Did you think something happened to me when you saw my seat was empty?”

Brian remained silent, feeling a bit ridiculous that he panicked when he saw her seat was empty. He even considered closing down the whole restaurant.

Fortunately, he regained his senses and remembered that Valda had a bodyguard who was responsible for her safety. He called the bodyguard to find out where Valda was and rushed towards the restroom.

His silence now seemed to be telling her the answer.

Valda also fell silent, feeling more heartache than surprise.

Did her past incident leave too much of a shadow on him? So much so that when she just went to the bathroom to vomit and left for a while, he would worry and become afraid like this.

“I’m sorry…” Valda raised her hand and hugged Brian back.

“Next time, if I have to leave for a while, I’ll call you so you won’t worry so much.”

He paused for a moment and murmured, “Don’t you think I’m overreacting?”

“I can only feel that you love me too much,” she said.

His trembling finally subsided.
