Greg shook his head unbelievably.
“Oriana actually cheated? She dares to cheat on Deacon? Pamela, this is a golden opportunity in your hands!”
Pamela scoffed and said,
“Greg, go get Marvin’s number now. I’ll arrange the next step.”
Greg was all out to support Pamela, so he responded in solidarity,
“Okay, I’ll go now!”
After Greg had left, Pamela took out her phone and called the media reporters in LA.
Everyone she called had hung up the moment they heard her voice. The same people who sang her praises a while ago, now spurned her without a thought!
“Pamela, where do you derive your guts to call us from? You lied so badly. And now we need to stay away from you, so our brand wouldn’t get affected by the hate that the masses have for you.” One of the media reporters had said the moment he had answered the call.
Pamela smiled coldly and muttered,
“Well, that’s a pity. Initially, I wanted to give you a very important news. Well, forget it, I’ll find someone else. Yunno, others might be interested in my information!”
“Wait a minute, Pamela, what’s the important information?”
“Oriana cheated on Deacon. Do you still want the full information? Well, imagine if this information get out to the public, it’ll be devoured in seconds. You’ll definitely reach that target audience that you’ve been seeking.” Pamela added convincingly.
The media reporter couldn’t help but conclude that the year’s most interesting and mind-blowing news were all from the Ivory Council. The media reporter and his crew were already leaving the institute, they hastily reversed and headed back to the Ivory Council.
Oriana didn’t leave immediately, but had gone for a blood test. Since she tried the mandala flower poison, she felt that her blood had changed. And moreover, Deacon’s medication. couldn’t be delayed any further, thus she had to be certain that she was perfect enough to carry out a second trial.
The results of the blood test was scheduled to be ready in a week time. Oriana was about to leave, but she received a message and it as from Pamela.
“Oriana, I’ve decided to return the medical book of your mother to you. Meet me in the pharmacy.”
Oriana wondered if Pamela was genuinely sincere about wanting to return the book, as her decision seemed too sudden.
Oriana placed her phone into her bag, and headed to the pharmacy.
A handsome and cold figure suddenly appeared before her. Derrick had blocked her path.
Oriana stopped and looked at him with her bright eyes.
Derrick looked at Oriana with a bit of playfulness.
“Hey, ugly girl. You seem to have a grudge against that girl, Pamela. You’re fighting really hard, aren’t you? Did you intentionally get close to my grandma, just so she could help you deal with your enemy?”
Oriana wasn’t pi ssed by his words, but instead, she let out a laugh.
“You call me an ugly girl? So what would you call yourself? A megalomaniac? Not everyone approaches you with a sinister purpose. Don’t think too highly of yourself.”
Oriana didn’t waste any more second with him, as she walked away.
Derrick let out a scoff. He didn’t expect the ugly girl to be so articulate.
“Ugly girl, no one dares to say something like that to me! I bet you don’t know, but I can actually beat women!” Derrick clenched his fist and moved towards Oriana.
Oriana’s eyes didn’t fluctuate, but when Derrick leaped closer, Oriana quickly kicked Derrick ruthlessly on the leg.
Derrick didn’t expect Oriana to do something like that. He didn’t take precautions, he was directly kicked in the leg.
Derrick sucked in pain. He bent and hugged his leg and leaped backwards. He glared at Oriana in shock.
“Ugly girl, you have the guts to hit me, have you gone bunkers? Do you know who I am?” He questioned authoritatively.
“I don’t know who you are, and I really don’t care. Get the hell outta my way!”
Derrick scoffed and reached out to grab Oriana.
A handsome and slender body suddenly appeared, shielding Oriana behind him.
“Derrick, when did you arrive LA?”
Oriana turned to the side, and the person who shielded her was Marvin.
Marvin was here!
Immediately Derrick sighted Marvin, he halted.
“Second master Armstead, what a coincidence, you’re here too?”
Derrick’s ambiguous eyes lingered on Marvin and Oriana.
“I can see why you’re so arrogant. It’s because Marvin is your boyfriend, right? You’ve actually managed to win the heart of a prestigious man, right?”
Oriana furrowed her brows.
“Mr. Rodriguez, don’t tell me that you’ve concluded that we’re lovers already. Second master Armstead and I can be friends as well.”
Derrick let out a scoff. He knew better than believing Oriana’s words. He had known Marvin to be a very reserved individual, who didn’t fancy the idea of having any friends.
“No way. Second master Armstead, don’t tell me that you’re trying to woe this ugly girl. I kinda thought that second master Armstead had great taste. I’m kinda disappointed though.” Derrick shook his regretfully.
Marvin was wearing a white shirt. He was beautiful and gorgeous, and his temperament was calm and cold. Although he was also a prince of the imperial city, he and Derrick were two completely different humans.
Marvin was very tall, so he easily shielded Oriana behind him, preventing Derrick from looking at her. Marvin didn’t want Derrick to be interested in Oriana.
“Young master Rodriguez, the relationship between Oriana and I is really not anyone’s concern. Oriana just saved your grandma, is this how you’ll treat her?”
Derrick seemed to have lost.
Ugly girl, we’ll meet again.” Derrick stared deeply at Oriana, then he turned and left.
Marvin turned around and looked at Oriana.
“I think that Derrick is interested in you. I think you should just avoid him, and focus only on old lady Robert.”
Oriana didn’t take Derrick seriously. But she nodded and said to Marvin,
“Second master Armstead, thank you. So, are you heading to the pharmacy?”
There was nothing wrong with the name that Oriana had just called him with. Everyone one else called him that. But Marvin felt a little weird, he could only nod and mutter,
“Yes, I’m heading there.”
The phone which laid quitely in Marvin’s pockets beeped indicating a message. Derrick took out his phone and read the message.
“Oriana wants to meet you at the pharmacy.” Pamela had sent.
Pamela didn’t have a clue of who Marvin was, so she had casually sent the message.
Marvin didn’t inform Oriana of what Pamela had sent.
“Second master Armstead, I happen to be heading to the pharmacy as well. Let’s go together.”
“Okay.”
When they arrived at the pharmacy, Pamela hadn’t surfaced yet. Oriana was a little suspicious of what Pamela was upto.
“Second master Armstead, you can go ahead if you have something to do. I’ll just wait here. Pamela invited me over to give me something.” Oriana muttered, when the silence was becoming unbearably awkward.
Marvin focused his gaze at Oriana’s clear and watery eyes. Marvin lowered his eyelids and slightly bowed his head.
Marvin was a proud son. He was talented and had an arrogant temperament. He would not participate in any fight between women.
It was now comprehensive to Marvin. Pamela had used an excuse to invite Oriana and him together. He knew that something massive was about to happen.
Marvin knew that it if he told Oriana, Oriana would leave immediately.
