Hadwin Stephenson immediately felt his headache intensify. ‘Does this woman want me to recommend Jason such a show?‘
He glanced at Lina sideways. “I heard that you asked the men I assigned to you for the crew’s filming schedule. Did you come here after seeing the schedule?”
Lina chuckled drily. “I only came over to have a look. I wasn’t really sure but it turns out that they’re really filming here.”
“Then what did you do besides asking for autographs?” asked Hadwin Stephenson as he vaguely glanced at the film crew members nearby. To no surprise, he saw the leading actors.
He might not be able to recognize other celebrities, but he could recognize the two leading actors. Lina kept praising these two male actors in front of him, saying how handsome they were.
‘Handsome… Do I have to do what Jason said last time? Do I have to try hard to enchant Lina so that she’ll keep her eyes on me?‘
“We only took a couple of photos together and shook hands. Then, they said we’re welcome to visit the set at any time,” said Lina.
The director hurriedly stepped forward with the two leading actors, introduced himself, and said with a smile, “It’s our honor that Miss Sweeney and Mrs. Reed enjoy our drama. We’ll work harder in filming the sequel!”
The film crew was delighted that Lina and Grace liked their work.
After all, if the film crew ever ran into trouble, maybe these people could help them solve it. It was always better to have more connections.
“You can also visit us at any time. I can give you a more detailed filming schedule if you want,” the director said.
“You have a more detailed schedule?” Lina’s eyes lit up.
“Yes, we do. We do…” However, the director stopped speaking halfway because the way Hadwin Stephenson looked at him was somewhat dangerous.

The two of them came to the cafe’s bathroom entrance and heard a voice inside saying, “Why is Lina so smug?

Grace could not help frowning, and she felt her best friend beside her stiffen slightly.
“Lina!” she cried out.
Lina turned her head and smiled at Grace. “I’m fine.”
The two women in the washroom seemed to hear the sound outside and immediately walked out. Their expressions changed when they saw Lina and Grace. They stammered an apology, saying, “I’m sorry… We… We were just talking.”
After all, they were just minor actresses in the film crew. Although they were jealous and disdainful of women who got to the top by using their children like Lina, they were scared. to say it to her face. They were scared to death after getting caught. They were worried that Lina would complain to Hadwin Stephenson.
Lina smiled. “I had no idea people like you would be so worried about whether a woman like me marries my boyfriend or not. My boyfriend doesn’t even think I’m not good enough for him, but it seems you think so.”
The two women grew even paler.
Lina raised her chin, her face full of confidence. “Whether Hadwin and I will get married doesn’t concern you. I just don’t want you to be humiliated when Hadwin and I really do get married!”
The two women left dejectedly. Lina turned and saw the worried look on her best friend’s face. She said, “Alright, don’t worry about me. I know how Hadwin and I are doing. I’m confident about our future!”
Grace was relieved when she saw her confident smile. “I was afraid what they said would hurt you. But then again, have you and Hadwin Stephenson talked about getting married?”
“Not really, but…” Lina smiled. “I know I’m the only one Hadwin loves. He has never loved others, so I don’t care when we’re getting married. I just want us to keep loving each other.”
“But…”
“Besides, I’m pregnant. I don’t think I’m in the right shape to get married now. Do you want me to hold the wedding ceremony with a big belly? I want to wear a beautiful wedding dress!” quipped Lina.
Therefore, Grace said nothing.
At noon, the four of them found a nearby restaurant and had lunch together in a private room.
Lina looked through the photos she took with the leading actors on her phone and asked Grace, “Why don’t I give you a set when I print them out?”
“Sure,” Grace blurted out.
“Sure?” Jason raised his eyebrows and looked at his wife. “What’s the matter? Are you going to keep them in a photo album?”
“It’s considered memorabilia too. Didn’t you help me get autographs and take photos with celebrities before?”
“I remember that celebrity is good at acting and has starred in many good dramas. What about these two men?
What have they starred in? Do you like their acting or… their looks?”
Jason’s handsome face inched closer to Grace as he spoke.
His eyes were charming, and his breath smelled nice. Grace instantly felt her heart beat faster, and she seemed to be trapped in his gaze.
‘He… He’s not jealous, is he?‘
“Although they’re rookies, they’re good at acting. They only look okay though…” she said. Even though the two leading actors were handsome, she could not admit it at such a time!
Besides, the leading actors were indeed pretty good–looking, but they were no match for Jay.
However, Lina counteracted her efforts. “Just okay? Grace, didn’t you say they look pretty good and are your cup of tea? Why did you…”
Lina only found the pressure in the private room heightening. She instantly shut up as if she just realized it.
‘Gosh. There’s a saying that you get dumb when you’re pregnant. I’ve gotten stupid from my pregnancy. Jason’s already jealous, yet I’m adding fuel to the fire by saying all these.‘
All she could do was look at her best friend apologetically.
However, it was too late. Jason’s dark eyes narrowed as he stared at Grace. “They look pretty good and they’re your cup of tea? What’s the matter? Do you like these two men’s appearances?”
“No, no, they’re my cup of tea, not Grace’s!” Lina said hurriedly. Since she had said the wrong thing, she would fix it.
Therefore, Lina tried hard to hurl mud at herself.
“Oh? They’re your cup of tea?” A faint voice rang beside them, sounding jealous. It made Lina freeze instantly as she just realized Hadwin Stephenson was looking at her with jealousy!
Lina immediately looked embarrassed. “I… I was just saying.”
“Just saying?” Hadwin Stephenson tugged at his tie. “Then why don’t you tell us how these two actors are your cup of tea?”
Lina was immediately at a loss for words. Whatever she said turned out to be the wrong thing.
Grace quickly smoothed things over. “Alright, alright, let’s order first. We’re all hungry. We can’t let Lina starve!”
