“Yes…” she said rather lamely. She had screamed her heart. out in the movie roadshow earlier, of course, she had burned.

As soon as Lina Sweeney heard that there was food, she perked up immediately. One of the advantages of dating

Once out of the cinema, Hadwin Stephenson drove Lina Sweeney to a famous restaurant. Lina Sweeney had only seen. the restaurant in a gourmet magazine before and had never gotten the chance to eat there.
Nevertheless, after coming to date Hadwin Stephenson, they dined there several times.
The food in the restaurant suited her tastes rather well.
Upon entering the restaurant, Hadwin Stephenson asked for a private room. Lina Sweeney sat in the private room and ignored the Howell Webb posters she had gotten that day. Instead, she browsed her phone.
Not long after, Lina Sweeney’s face took a ghastly expression.
“What’s the matter?” asked Hadwin Stephenson.
Lina Sweeney said angrily, “These people are going too far. Do they know the truth? It’s true that you only need one mouth to create rumors while denying them takes great effort.”
Hadwin Stephenson grabbed Lina Sweeney’s phone from her hand and looked at it. A video was being played on the screen. of Lina Sweeney’s phone. It was a video of Grace and Evelyn’s earlier conflict.
From the point of view in the video, it seemed like Grace had.
pushed Evelyn away on purpose. Accompanied by Evelyn’s pitiful performance, it made many viewers take her side; they accused Grace of being “mean” and “spiteful”.
While some of Evelyn’s fans added fuel to the fire in the comments, some even exposed Grace’s imprisonment, accusing her of being a murderer online.
Some people even believed that Grace was the other woman. who had stepped between Brian and Evelyn’s relationship. Otherwise, why did Brian care more about Grace instead of his girlfriend?
“Yinyin couldn’t have worse luck to have such a sister.”
“Does she still want to be the crown prince’s girlfriend after having been to prison? She must be crazy for being that power-hungry!”
Lina Sweeney almost threw up after seeing everyone comforting Evelyn and vilifying Grace.
She had known that someone would publish the conflict on the internet, but she had not expected it to happen so soon. Not to mention, the reproaches against her best friend were so overwhelming.
She did not believe that no one was adding fuel to the fire behind it.
That b*tch Evelyn. Could she have deliberately hired spammers online in an attempt to crush Grace with the public’s opinion?
Lina Sweeney guessed the possibilities of it, and the more she thought about it, the more likely it seemed to be.
“That b*tch Evelyn is purposely trying to make Grace’s life miserable. What did Grace do to her? Grace couldn’t have worse luck to have a little sister like her,” Lina Sweeney said angrily,

Hadwin Stephenson was somewhat amused. This fellow no longer seemed interested in the autograph and posters of Howell Webb she had always wanted. Instead, when it came to her friend, she cared more about her than anything else.
She cared so much that it made him a little jealous.
When would this girl care a little more about him?
“Tell me!” Lina Sweeney could not help but urge.
“What’s in it for me if I tell you?” Hadwin Stephenson said lazily.
“What’s in it for him?”
Lina Sweeney blinked her eyes in confusion. Uh, what good. could she do him? She could not just slip him a few banknotes or give him a copy or two of Howell Webb’s posters.
“What do you want?”
“Just give me a kiss,” He said casually, just to see how she would react.
However, the woman immediately cupped his face and gave him a big kiss on the cheek. “Come on, tell me!” She was not shy at all. Consequently, her actions made Hadwin Stephenson feel a little uncomfortable.
She used to at least blushed a little when he let her kiss him.
Now, she had somehow skipped blushing.
Hadwin Stephenson had no choice but to clear his throat in front of Lina Sweeney’s expectant eyes. “Evelyn has dragged Brian into the mire. She wanted to plot against Grace and used Brian as cannon fodder. Do you think a man like Brian would stand it? Besides…”
Hadwin Stephenson paused there and did not go on.
“Besides what?” asked Lina Sweeney.
“Nothing. Just know that Evelyn’s place as Brian’s girlfriend has come to an end. That’s all,” said Hadwin Stephenson.
What he did not say was that Brian’s attitude toward Grace was clearly a little unusual.

After the incident had gone viral for a couple of hours, another video took over the internet by storm.
The video was a surveillance video that clearly showed Evelyn grabbing Grace’s hand and then suddenly letting go and falling backward.
The video featured an expert that analyzed the situation; judging from the angle shown in the video, as well as the amplitude of both parties, it was impossible Grace could have pushed Evelyn that far with almost no amplitude in her body.
The expert even built a model of how much body swing it would have taken to push Evelyn to where she had retreated.
The expert was really an expert-a nationally renowned physicist.
Many even wondered why such a well-known expert would pay attention to gossip posts, even going through the trouble. of analyzing the video and creating models.
However, he merely said lightly, “I don’t want to see anyone. wronged for nothing.”
All of a sudden, the internet was in an uproar.
Who had been wronged and who was the wrongdoer seemed clear enough after the expert’s analysis of the event.
Therefore, those who had been scolding Grace suddenly turned their firepower toward Evelyn. In response, Evelyn’s fans tried to turn the situation around, but it did not help much.
