Jason was silent.

“You know what I answered you back then?” she said, not knowing he had restored that part of his memory.

“I said I would forgive you. Even if you had done something wrong, I would forgive you,” she said.

His eyes glimmered slightly. “Did you forgive me because of that promise?”

She bit her red lip slightly. “Not just because of the promise, but also because… I love you!”

There seemed to be a hint of surprise in his eyes, and he looked at her somewhat blankly.

Just like how there was a look of fragility and attachment in his eyes that made her heart ache faintly as though it was being pinched.

She hoped he could smile happily and those beautiful peach blossom eyes could stop showing that look of fragility.

Jason’s nose felt sore. Everyone thought he was strong and only respected and feared him. Even when the old master was alive, he just treated him as a tool to continue the Reed family’s glory.

She was the only one who cared about him.

“Jay, you were the man I remembered and the man I wanted to be with when I lost my memories, so stop being upset. Because I’ll never leave you,” she said as she stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the lips!

She wanted to a**ure him and stop him from being this upset again.

If she could not do it five years ago, she hoped she could now!

He was her Jay. She would treat him as gently as she could!

Grace kissed Jason just like this. She was slightly gasping when the kiss was over. “Do you get it now?”

She pushed him down on the bed and undid his bathrobe.

He lay down obediently, his dark eyes staring at her as if he could not get enough of her.

“Okay,” he responded gently. A smile appeared on the corners of his lips. It was so beautiful and charming.

He would give her anything she wanted-his body, his smile, and even his soul. He was afraid that one day, she would stop wanting him and what he gave was no longer good enough.

Grace almost drowned herself in Jason’s smile.

She leaned over and kissed his face, his nape, his graceful neck…

“Jay, we’ll be together forever…”

She said as their fingers intertwined.

‘Forever..! He felt her kisses on him and had another flashback of her throwing up at the sink before looking at him with a pale and weak face.

He did not even dare to reach out and touch her back then.

He just hoped everything would be as she said, that they would be together forever…

When Lina went to work the next day, she found that many of her colleagues were looking at her from time to time and whispering behind her back.

She did not take it seriously until a colleague, who was on good terms with her, reminded, “Lina, check the office forum.”

Lina opened the forum and immediately understood what was going on.

Someone had made a post on the office’s internal forum with the title: [Came across a colleague being a homewrecker]. Two photos were included. One was of Hadwin Stephenson pulling her into the hotel, while the other was her coming out after changing into another set of clothes.

Lina could not help but frown. ‘Who took this photo? Who hates me so much that they’d post it on the office forum?’

Just then, Holly Greer’s voice rang out. “What’s the matter? Are you looking at your gossip too? Oh, Lina, I thought highly of you before. I thought you were virtuous, but you went to a hotel with Hadwin Stephenson as soon as he came to Emerald City. He has a girlfriend! And the news said he and his girlfriend are getting married soon!”

Lina turned her head to see Holly Greer’s face that was full of triumph and sarcasm. It seemed she thought she could trample on Lina and berate her as much as she could.

“What’s the matter? Do you think going into a hotel means doing something dirty? Sure enough, people with dirty minds always think dirty things about other people,” Lina snapped back.

“If nothing’s going on between you and Hadwin Stephenson, why did you get a hotel room? Why did you stay in the room for so long? You even changed your clothes before leaving! You became a homewrecker but won’t admit it!” said Holly Greer.

Due to the disturbance she caused, many colleagues had gathered around. Although they said nothing, some of their eyes were full of disapproval of Lina.

“Because my clothes were dirty. Even the blind could see I was covered in filth in the photo of me walking into the hotel. Is there a problem with me going in to get changed? Besides, Hadwin Stephenson was in the hotel lobby the whole time. He didn’t go upstairs. Or you can go to the hotel and check the surveillance,” said Lina, looking confident.

“You’re lying!” Holly Greer immediately denied it and said, “He got into the elevator with you and went to your room. He didn’t stay in the lobby at all.”

Lina shrugged, not wanting to bother with petty people like Holly Greer. Judging by her reaction, she was probably the one who took the photos and posted them on the forum.
