“Let go of my sister; you’re hurting her!”

Both men spoke at the same time, scaring Jerome into letting go. He looked up and saw that one was the world’s richest man, Romeo, and the other was the Minister of State Security.

What did they just say?

Mirabella was Romeo’s fiancé and also Minister Chasel’s sister.

This huge revelation left Jerome standing there, completely stunned.

Romeo looked at the male instructor in front of him, they were about the same age. Was he trying to pursue his fiancé?

Mirabella was in trouble, and this instructor was worried?

Thinking this, Romeo coldly asked, “Which team are you from?”

Chasel also stepped forward with a tough attitude, asking, “Which regiment are you from?”

Romeo and Chasel asked in unison, “What’s your name?”

Faced with the simultaneous interrogation of the two men, Jerome was completely panicked. He had never experienced such a scene.

He couldn’t help thinking: just how powerful was Mirabella’s network of connections, and why hasn’t anyone come to rescue him, the poor instructor, yet?

He didn’t want to be an instructor anymore, it was too scary!

He looked at Mirabella, hoping she could help.

Romeo immediately asked, “Isn’t my fiancée beautiful?”

Did he even dare to look?

“Is my sister someone you can just stare at?”

Jerome screamed, “Help! Can someone save me?”

Then he finally understood why Lieutenant Colonel Capra personally told him to look after Mirabella and stressed that he should take good care of her.

He couldn’t offend either the McMillian family or the Collins family.

Just as Mirabella was about to speak, one of Chasel’s men recognized Jerome and spoke up for him, “Sir, he’s my friend. He’s gay and has a partner! He wouldn’t have any inappropriate thoughts about Mirabella!”

Jerome was a bit confused.

Chasel clearly didn’t believe it. His gaze at Jerome turned even colder. “He’s got a partner and is still holding his sister’s arm?” he thought.

He, as a brother, never even touched his sister’s arm! What gave that instructor the right?

“Sir, Mirabella is his student. If something happens, he needs to be responsible. That’s why he impulsively grabbed her arm,” Chasel’s man explained.

After saying that, he looked at Jerome and said, “Your turn! You can’t just let me do all the talking!”

Jerome took over the conversation and replied, “Yes, I was too anxious and didn’t control myself properly.”

While they were talking, Belinda and Noreen were still bowing,

Noreen’s friends were as anxious as ants on a hot pan. They regretted hanging out with Noreen. They thought her family had some influence and was connected to the McMillian family, which would give them some status in Summerfield. They never expected their relationship to be as thin as paper!

Noreen had sincerely apologized, but Mirabella didn’t forgive her. She said opportunities only come once or twice. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. What were they supposed to do?

If Mirabella didn’t forgive them, they’d be expelled.

No way!

They were reluctant to leave Westerly College. They didn’t want their parents to be involved either, so they apologized like Belinda, one by one, in a humble manner. Just then, another person arrived.

“We have finished the withdrawal procedures!” The director came over with the new documents, appearing more confident. As long as Belinda quickly took Noreen/ and left, that matter could be over, and he wouldn’t be involved.

Belinda took the withdrawal documents and asked in a low voice, “Mr. Collins, now that the procedures are done, can I take Noreen home and teach her a lesson?” Only then did Louisa seem to notice her, glancing at her waist. “Why are you always bending over? You’re not young anymore; it’s not good if you accidentally twist something.”

Belinda knew Louisa was deliberately making her bend over, but she didn’t dare say anything.

“I feel very ashamed for what my daughter has done. How can I have the face to stand up?”

“Alright, since my daughter won’t pursue this anymore, you can go home.”

Upon hearing that, Belinda quickly bowed to Mirabella and apologized again before standing up straight and leaving with Noreen.

At that point, Noreen’s friends came forward to apologize to Mirabella individually.

Considering that Noreen was the one who drugged the drink, Mirabella didn’t make it hard for them. However, Kelly sternly warned them that if they dared to stir up trouble in the future, their fate would be worse than Noreen’s!

The girls hadn’t seen such a spectacle before and nodded quickly, their faces full of gratitude.

Kelly asked them to keep that a secret and not leak any information about that day. The girls hurriedly agreed.

Oh my, they wouldn’t dare talk about such an embarrassing incident.

Revealing Bella’s identity now could cause a lot of unnecessary trouble since it was still under wraps. Kelly and Bella had a lot to do and couldn’t afford to blow their cover then.

Of course, Bella agreed with that.

The director remembered something, quickly pulled out a phone from his pocket, and handed it to Joyce. He laughed and said, “Joyce, I forgot to give this back to you earlier. I just stuffed it in my pocket”

Joyce rolled her eyes and said, “I don’t buy it!”

“Bella, you guys go ahead. I need to have a chat with the director.” Louisa turned her gaze to the director.

The director wanted to cry but had no choice but to personally entertain her and Kenneth, inviting them to sit down.

Outside.

Chasel looked at his beautiful and elegant–looking sister and formally said, “Hi, I’m your brother, Chasel. I’m glad you’re back home.”

Joyce and Mya on the side overheard it.

Back home? Bella just returned to the Collins family?

The word on the street was that the Collins family only had one daughter, Serena. Could Bella have been the one they had just found?

With that in mind, they felt sorry for Bella who, just returned home and must have gone through a lot in the past.

Mirabella, hearing the name Chasel, had a few question marks popping up in her head.

Was that name for real? It sounded so casual.

He seemed to sense something and laughed as he explained, ‘After my parents had their first kid, they were hoping for a girl next. But when they saw me, they didn’t even feel like coming up with a name, so they picked something random.”

Everyone else felt kind of sorry for him, but also wanted to laugh.

Apparently, he didn’t have high status at home.

Mirabella couldn’t help but laugh.

Thinking about David, Mirabella laughed, “David is pretty lucky then.”

“He just changed his name to something catchy when he debuted.”

David couldn’t escape either. Poor guy.

“Bella, you’ve had a tough time over the years. From now on, mom, dad, and all your brothers will double down on treating you well.”

Chasel said that and pulled out a card from his pocket, apologizing, “I’ve been on a mission lately and couldn’t come home in time. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to neglect you.”

The mission he was on was a top–secret national assignment. He couldn’t tell anyone about it and couldn’t reveal his identity.

Kenneth and Louisa still had no idea what kind of missions he had been on, how many injuries he had had, and how much hardship he had endured.

The danger involved was also unimaginable to others.

Chasel said, “I just returned to the country last night and haven’t had time to go shopping yet. This is my card; buy whatever you want.”

Mirabella thought, “Another card? Is this the way her family shows their love, by handing out cards and money?!”

“Thanks, bro. I appreciate the gesture, but I don’t need the card.” Mirabella didn’t take it.

Mirabella knew very well how dangerous his job was and how much caution was needed. She guessed the money on the card might be hard–earned.

“You must accept it. If you don’t, it means you don’t see me as your brother.” Chasel really wanted her to accept, but when Mirabella didn’t make a move, Chasel couldn’t help but say, “You still see me as a stranger?”

Still, Mirabella gently declined.
