Romeo just noticed Chasel in the corner. The place was packed when he first walked in, so he didn’t have the chance to take a good look around.
He had heard that Chasel worked at the Ministry of State Security and held a high–ranking position, so he rarely had time to go home. So, was he here for Mirabella?
Chasel shot Romeo a somewhat disgruntled look, but he first responded to his parents‘ questions.
“I’m just here to bear witness. What brings you guys here?”
His parents had been nagging him to come home and see his sister lately, had they really tracked him down here for this?
When Mirabella heard Chasel refer to Kenneth and Louisa as his parents, she raised an eyebrow. So, the head of the Ministry of State Security was her brother?
That’s a big deal.
So, they had already met yesterday.
“Why are you here too? Did you hear your sister was being bullied and decided to come help?” After asking Chasel, Louisa suddenly remembered something and turned to Mirabella. “Mirabella, you’re not hurt, are you?”
That’s the most important thing!
Everyone in the office was stunned!
Mirabella was Kenneth and Louisa’s daughter? When did they have a daughter?
They had never heard any news of this!
Chasel turned to Mirabella, who was not far away. Was this girl his sister? His own sister?
He had thought earlier that if Romeo didn’t choose Serena, he would at least pick his own sister, Mirabella. But it turned out that this girl was Mirabella!
They had already met yesterday. He even invited her to join the Ministry of State Security.
Belinda and Noreen were so scared that their legs were shaking, they could barely stand.
Noreen’s friends were also sweating bullets, they had no idea Mirabella had such a powerful background!
Belinda hadn’t fully come to her senses yet. She pulled a stiff smile, holding onto the last bit of hope, and asked, “Mrs. Collins, you just said this girl is?”
“My daughter, Mirabella!”
Belinda almost fainted, Noreen hadn’t mentioned on the phone that the girl who had bullied her was Kenneth and Louisa’s daughter Mirabella.
They’re screwed. Totally screwed.
Not only was Chasel there, but the Collins couple and even Romeo had come to help Mirabella!
Her stupid daughter was about to ruin the future of the Winters family today!
The Winters family was done for!
With that thought, Belinda raised her hand and slapped her daughter hard.
A crisp sound echoed throughout the office, and everyone turned to look at Noreen.
Noreen looked at her mother in disbelief.
Her mother had always spoiled her and never had the heart to scold her.
“You dumbass! Yes, Mirabella is pretty, but even if you want to take close–up photos of her to show your plastic surgeon, you can’t drug her drink! Look at the mess you’ve made!”
Noreen’s eyes widened: Plastic surgery? To look like Mirabella? She couldn’t believe her mother was pulling this kind of lie.
She really was her mother’s daughter.
“Bella just hurt you and she’s showing you mercy, man. She could’ve gone for the kill, but she held back!”
After Belinda finished scolding, she put on a smile, turning to Louisa and saying, “Mrs. Collins, I’m really sorry. All this mess is my daughter’s fault. I apologize.” Belinda bent over in apology, showing a sincere attitude.
“I didn’t raise my kid right, I share the blame. I hope you and Mr. Collins can find it in your hearts to give us another chance.”
“So this is how the Winters family handles things?”
Before Louisa could answer, a cold glint flashed in Romeo’s eyes. “Bullying my fiancee, then trying to brush it off with a slap on the wrist and an apology? Who knew it was that easy?”
Belinda kept her head low. Heating Romeo’s words, she got the message. She quickly turned to her daughter and scolded, “What are you standing there for? Hurry up and apologize to Ms. Bella!”
Noreen knew all too well the repercussions of crossing the McMillans and the Collins. Her actions could potentially affect her entire family.
With a humiliated and humble heart, she walked over to Mirabella and bowed her head in apology, her voice trembling.
“I’m sorry, Mirabella. I held a grudge against you because of what happened before and did something terrible. Please forgive me!”
Mirabella looked at her frightened face and calmly said, “If I had drunk that water today, you wouldn’t have even had the chance to apologize.”
Noreen’s head lowered even more. “I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. Please give me another chance!”
“Opportunities only come once. Sometimes, once you miss them, they’re gone forever.”
She wasn’t a saint.
If the drug had been colorless and tasteless today, she would have been a fish on the cutting board, waiting to be slaughtered.
“I’m sorry. Noreen was indeed at fault. I apologize on her behalf!” Belinda kept her head low. After apologizing, she turned to Romeo and apologized again: “I’m sorry, Mr. McMillan. I failed in teaching my daughter.”
Then, she individually apologized to Kenneth, Louisa, Chasel, Joyce, and Mya.
Suddenly, she remembered her cousin, Enid Winters!
Enid claimed that she was bullied by Mirabella and even cried buckets. Did Enid know that Mirabella was the daughter of the Collins family? If she did and still deliberately provoked her, then Enid was just downright evil!
Seeing that no one from the Collins or McMillan families was speaking, they obviously weren’t going to let this slide.
She didn’t dare to straighten her back, her back was covered with cold sweat. “Enid has been spoiled by us. I’ve decided to take her home and discipline her. Today, I’ll process her withdrawal from school!”
The director was stunned. Withdrawal from school? She’s only been here for a few days.
Noreen was reluctant to leave Westerly College, but her mother had made her decision. She could only bow her head and silently cry, accepting her fate.
“She indeed needs strict discipline.” Romeo said coldly, “Belinda, if you wait any longer, you won’t be able to control her.”
“Yes.” Belinda responded humbly, “Mr. McMillan is absolutely right.”
“Control your daughter, and don’t let her hurt my sister again.”
This was the first time Chasel referred to her as a sister, with a strange sense of affection and pampering!
Mirabella respectfully said, “I respect my brother’s thoughts.”
Hearing this, Chasel’s eyebrows lifted in happiness. His sister was so well–behaved, so understanding, so adorable!
His subordinates wanted to say: Wake up, she already kicked someone until they vomited blood.
Some random guy nearby: Why listen to Chasel instead of fiancé? He seemed a bit jelly!
“Since Belinda is going to take the kid home and educate him, we shouldn’t get in the way.” After Louisa finished speaking, she suddenly asked, “Oh, by the way, you say that Mirabella kicked your child till she vomited blood?”

“No way.” Belinda laughed gently, not angry at all. “It might be because of a gastric ulcer or acute gastritis that my child vomited blood. I’ll have the doctor check it out later.”
“So, she was sick.” Louisa nodded thoughtfully and said, “Alright, make sure the doctor checks her thoroughly.”
Many reproachful eyes fell on the director, who was stunned for two seconds, then immediately said indignantly, “I’ve seen the video. The nature of this incident is very bad. Expulsion is a must!”
Joyce, Mya, and Kelly were angry. Why hadn’t he mentioned this before?
“As the director, I’ll personally handle Ms. Enid’s expulsion procedure, no favoritism!” The director hurriedly ran out, afraid that if he was a bit late, he would also be in trouble.
Louisa took Mirabella’s hand and asked with concern, “Bella, are you hurt? Are the extracurricular activities tiring?”
“I’m not tired, and I’m not hurt.”
Mya and Joyce both sighed in their hearts: What a gentle mom! Living in such a family, Mirabella must be very lucky, right?
